App State's Indivisible Neers chapter and the College Democrats gather along the route into the Watauga County Republican Party's Lincoln-Reagan dinner, held this year in Kidd Brewer Stadium's Grandview Ballroom. Organizers say the group has coordinated the site plan with App State police. They're also collecting non-perishable food for Hospitality House alongside the demonstration. Weapons are barred from App State's campus under NC law, including for concealed-carry permit holders.
