Dancing Anyways New Year’s Day dance party!
Honestly, it feels like the world is on fire right now. 🔥 Dancing Anyways is back January 1st, 6 to 10 PM at Parallel Brewing. $15 at the door (cash or Venmo), and $5 of every ticket goes to the Children's Council of Watauga. Being a woman right now can feel like carrying a thousand things at once. The mental load, the expectations, the fear, the pressure to hold it all together and keep showing up for everyone, even when we're exhausted. That's exactly why we need this. A place to put it all down. Where we're not someone's mom, wife, daughter, employee, or caretaker. We're just women. Where we can feel safe, take up space, be loud, dance like nobody's watching, laugh with strangers who become friends, and remember what free feels like. Joy is not a luxury. Community is not a luxury. Having a space to let go and remember we're not alone is something we all deserve. This is bigger than a dance party. It's women showing up for women, choosing joy, choosing connection, and choosing to keep going. The world might be on fire, but we're dancing anyways.
