Head out to Banner Elk Winery, an award-winning winery in the North Carolina High Country, for live music from Jace Smith. Smith is a country/rock singer-songwriter whose guitar skills landed him a gig touring with Rick Springfield in the 1980s. Now based in southwest Virginia, he's known for energetic live performances showcasing hard-rocking country with classic rock influences. Hours are 1-5 p.m. and there is no cover charge.
