A Watauga County high school senior has been selected to receive a Disaster Relief and Resilience Scholarship from the North Carolina Community Foundation. The scholarship program supports 14 graduating seniors from seven western North Carolina counties who had their higher education plans disrupted by Hurricane Helene.
