North Carolina Alcohol Law Enforcement Division agents seized a 200-gallon illegal distillery in Wilkes County after an explosion and fire on Monday, Oct. 26, 2026. The investigation began after the Wilkes County Sheriff's Office contacted ALE agents about the incident.
