Middle Fork is getting its banks stabilized and its flow restored after years of erosion. The work downstream matters more than the work itself. Cleaner water, better habitat, less sediment choking creeks that feed into the New River. One restoration project does not fix the whole system, but it is the sort of thing that has to happen creek by creek.
