Two old friends, a car, and nothing but time. Alton Medlin and Jason DeWitt are driving Avery County to sit down with their neighbors and let them talk, really talk, the long way, while the rest of the internet trains us to scroll past each other. That's the whole idea behind this place too. The High Country's best stories were never going to fit in a fifteen-second clip. Somebody had to go get them in person. Thankful these guys are doing it.
