New radiation technology brings advanced cancer center care closer to home

The Seby B. Jones Regional Cancer Center in Boone has installed a new Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerator for radiation therapy, made possible by donations from High Country donors. The equipment allows patients to receive advanced cancer treatment locally rather than traveling elsewhere.
