AppHealthCare received $1.25 million in federal funding through the North Carolina Rural Health Transformation Program to expand school-based health centers, according to an announcement from Governor Stein and the Department of Health and Human Services. The funding will support preventive and acute health care services, nutrition support, and other services at the centers.
