App State's climate literacy program brought in Planet Courage Monday to tell students they have superpowers. That framing matters, because the usual environmental messaging runs toward dread and individual guilt, and this one runs toward what you can actually do. The university's Pathways to Resilience plan is built into the curriculum now, not bolted on as an elective, which means the climate piece is supposed to stick. Whether it does depends on what happens after the representatives leave.
