The founder of North Carolina's Weather Authority, a weather forecasting Facebook page that started in 2016, will host a question-and-answer session at the Original Mast General Store in Valle Crucis on Oct. 14. The page grew out of the founder's childhood interest in weather and has since expanded beyond its original forecasting purpose.
