Foster-Tyson Park in Jefferson has received a $235,175 grant from the North Carolina Parks and Recreation Trust Fund. The award was announced jointly by Blue Ridge Conservancy and the Town of Jefferson and will support improvements to the park, which is part of the Northern Peaks State Trail.
