App State field hockey defeated both Central Michigan University and Kent State University over the weekend. The Mountaineers scored in the opening minute of the Central Michigan game when freshman midfielder Chloe Hook scored with an assist from freshman midfielder Morgan Hook, and maintained that lead into the second quarter.
