Two Appalachian State University roommates recently climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania as part of a trip that took them across multiple countries and continents. Kate Borkowski, a sophomore sustainable development major, and River Savante, a sophomore political science major, undertook the expedition this summer.
