♥ Why this matters

Foscoe Home Team moved into a 10,000-square-foot building in Banner Elk on August 18, nearly two years after opening as a response to Hurricane Helene. The nonprofit now has room to expand the services it runs for High Country families. A lot of what held together in the first months after the storm was improvisational and cramped, and this is what happens when the work sticks around long enough to need a real roof.
