Appalachian State University's Appalachian Institute for Health and Wellness will host its second annual Growing Well Conference from Oct. 4-6 at Levine Hall in Boone, in partnership with the Northwest Area Health Education Center. The conference will focus on support for children and youth with special healthcare needs.
