West Jefferson's "Cool Corner Connection" Trop Rock Festival will expand to three days this year, running Aug. 7-9 at Old Barn Winery in Ashe County. The festival's organizers are extending the event after last year's inaugural gathering drew strong interest from fans of the tropical rock genre.
