App State field hockey opened its season with back-to-back overtime victories at home against Towson University and Georgetown University. The Mountaineers beat Towson 1-0 after four scoreless periods, with goalkeeper Dakota Anderson recording four saves and the team generating eight shots and two penalty corners in the extra period.
