If Voting Goes Sideways, There's a Number for That
888-OUR-VOTE connects High Country voters to a real person, not a recording, when something's wrong at the polls.
Democracy North Carolina runs a live, nonpartisan election hotline. Call or text 888-OUR-VOTE (888-687-8683). It's been running since 2000, through Democracy NC and the Southern Coalition for Social Justice.
Use it for registration questions, finding your polling place, trouble casting a ballot, or witnessing intimidation or a heavy police presence at a polling site.
NC is a battleground state this cycle with a contested U.S. Senate race on the ballot. Indivisible High Country flagged the hotline and asked that the number get shared before early voting opens Oct 15.
