Appalachian State University's Appalachian Institute for Health and Wellness will hold its second annual Growing Well Conference from Oct. 4-6 at Levine Hall in Boone, in partnership with the Northwest Area Health Education Center. The conference will focus on support for children and youth with special health care needs.
