Hyper-local news & culture

No algorithm. Just word of mouth.

left917 is the High Country's independent read: local news, music, culture, and what's on, all in one place. No app, no login, no ads. And we're writing our own stuff now, not just rounding up everyone else's. Putting on an event? Share your calendar and we'll keep it on the air. Saw a flyer for something that isn't here? Send us the photo.

Know a story we should be chasing? left917 is your newsroom too. Sitting on a tip, a lead, or something the papers are missing? Email studio@left917.net.

Saturday's the Gold Out against Maine, then Rage Banger Rave takes the barn into Sunday morning. Sunday is packed with local shows including the New River Blues Festival and Monday closes it out with a cookout at Huzzah Books in a way that only they can serving free Uzbek plov.
