Boone officially accepts Bolick property bid for $4.75 million

The Boone Town Council voted to accept Blue Ridge Energy's offer to purchase 20 acres of the Bolick Farm property for $4.75 million. The town plans to use the proceeds from the sale to fund a new Public Works facility.
