Boone residents gathered to dedicate a Greenway bridge over Lower Hardin Creek to honor Rufus Edmisten, a Boone native who served as state attorney general and secretary of state. The bridge sits on land that formerly belonged to the Edmisten family and was recognized for Edmisten's conservation efforts in the region.
