Blue Ridge Conservancy and the Land for Tomorrow Coalition Thank Legislators For Investing in North Carolina's Conservation Trust Funds

The Blue Ridge Conservancy and Land for Tomorrow coalition praised the North Carolina General Assembly for increasing funding to the Agricultural Development and Farmland Preservation Trust Fund in the 2026 state budget while keeping funding steady for the N.C. Land and Water Fund and Parks and Recreation Trust Fund. The General Assembly also authorized creation of an additional conservation funding mechanism, according to the groups.
