The Boone Planning Commission will consider a rezoning request Monday for a 185-unit apartment complex called Walk at Boone on approximately 23 acres near NC Highway 105 Extension and Beverly Heights Avenue. Developer LCD Acquisitions, LLC has submitted a Conditional District Zoning Map Amendment application for the 642-bedroom residential community. The commission will also hear discussion on a proposed ban of invasive species.
