Over twelve thousand dollars landed in one drive. Individuals, community groups, churches, and local businesses all moved money and time and word-of-mouth toward kids getting shoes they need. The Ashe County Volunteer Initiative ran it, and they are naming everybody who showed up, because that is how you build the next one.
