An event called Planet Courage. Stories of Local Climate Heroes will be held Monday, Aug. 31, featuring students and alumni discussing climate solutions in the Boone area. The program is hosted by Blue Ridge Women in Agriculture, MountainTrue and App State's Renewable Energy Initiative and will highlight local nature and energy-focused climate initiatives.
