NC DMV: License Plate Stickers and Paper Registration Cards Going Away

North Carolina will eliminate license plate renewal stickers and paper vehicle registration cards under provisions in the state budget signed by Governor Josh Stein on July 7. The Division of Motor Vehicles has been directed to transition to the new system.
