The Haint, by Birdie (working title)
A skull on bat wings over the blue ridges. Birdie draws the Haint.
Art by Birdie
The haint comes up over the ridgeline on bat wings, trailing yellow fog across three blue mountains. Green skull, purple cape, hands out front like it wants something.
A haint is the unsettled dead, the thing mountain families have told porch stories about for generations. Birdie drew this one as the face of the High Country Haint List, our running guide to everything spooky between here and Halloween.
Birdie tattoos at Rat King Studio and draws and writes for left917.
