Gov. Josh Stein visited Lansing to mark two years since Hurricane Helene affected the High Country and Western North Carolina, noting that all Main Street businesses have reopened. During the visit, Stein announced new grants for local municipalities, including one for an Elk Park culvert project, and called for additional funding.
