$2.27 billion in statewide energy savings reported at App State’s Appalachian Energy Summit

Appalachian State University and its state partners have collectively avoided $2.27 billion in energy costs since 2002 through efficiency and conservation efforts, according to the North Carolina State Energy Office. The figure was reported at the Appalachian Energy Summit held in Boone.
