Hyper-local news & culture
No algorithm. Just word of mouth.
left917 is the High Country's independent read: local news, music, culture, and what's on, all in one place. No app, no login, no ads. And we're writing our own stuff now, not just rounding up everyone else's. Putting on an event? Share your calendar and we'll keep it on the air. Saw a flyer for something that isn't here? Send us the photo.

The bands page is on the air, built with Shred Boone. Every band with a show coming up is on it, and a tap on a name pulls up all their dates. Here's what it's for.
Missing a band? Add your act with your genre, hometown, a sentence about you and a logo. An editor reads every one before it goes up.
