Tomorrow night Dancing Anyways takes over Parallel Brewing, a women-only dance party running 6 to 10 with indie, hip-hop, and EDM. $10 at the door, $15 gets you in the raffle, and they say there are surprises coming.
The entire weekend is going to be wild. Friday, Yesterday's Clothes, Current Blue, and Inquest play Lily's. Saturday, DJ Chayo's Latin Night at Lily's raises money for Immigrant Justice Coalition Boone, and Spin Diezel and Dezzie Jr throw the White Lies Party at Lil Rudy's. Then Sunday, RVA punk trio Destructo Disk closes it out at Lily's, all ages.
And if you're still standing on after Friday night, show up with a can of food and a sign. Saturday evening, App State's Indivisible Neers and College Democrats walk the route into Watauga County's GOP dinner at Kidd Brewer Stadium, collecting non-perishables for Hospitality House the whole way in.
