Multiple Flood Alerts in Effect Across High Country Monday Morning

Multiple flood alerts were issued across the High Country and surrounding northwest North Carolina on Monday morning due to a stalled weather system producing heavy rainfall in the region. The National Weather Service in Blacksburg issued the alerts as conditions developed.
